I don’t think so. Depends I guess on how you define absolute darkness.

I agree. I think I imagine it to be a place where there is no way out. That place should not exist, as there is always a way out.

Absolute darkness can be a way to express depression then just like jk Rowling created the demenators in Harry Potter to personify hers.

Oh, that is actually true! I hadn’t thought about it this way! We all have those times or points, and those are the times which feels like absolute darkness (but they are not).
