Hi everyone! I have been nominated for Sunshine Blogger Award for the fourth time by the ever lovely Saba Niaz , who is a cat lover just like me. She has a very spiritual side as well and has achieved some milestones in blogging recently too! Check out her blog and you will love it! For her own award post, click here

Now, rules, as copied from her post, because they are phrased very lovely:

Rules:

1: Flatter with shine at your blog.

2: Be thankful to the blogger who nominated you.

3: Share the way of the blog from where you received the honour of shine.

4: Drop this sunshine at other sites.

5: share your queries with them.

6: list the rules.

7: accept the questionnaire you have been given.

Note before questions:

As usual, I will nominate everyone who is willing to answer. (My questions at the end)

Saba’s Questions for me:

1: Have you had anything date back to your salad days?

Hmm, I think I did not.

2: what is your favourite possession?

Possibly my laptop because it is what makes my work doable. I feel satisfied when I complete things with it.

3: Do you like to watch cartoon with kids?

No. I don’t think I like kids in general. I like cats, though.

4: Dedicate a short paragraph in the honour of your country.

Well, I don’t like praising any location that much, as all locations are equally good in my mind. But I will say this about Turkey: what I really like about it is the fact that it is very diverse. Geographically, it is the crossing path between Europe and Asia, so it combines both cultures. In fact, Istanbul is the only city which has land in two different continents. One side is in Asia and one is in Europe. Due to this cultural mix, food is also awesome. That is definitely a big plus. These are the main reasons I like Turkey, apart from the fact that my family is also there.

5: what do you easily give away;

I: your books

II: your toys (don’t be bewildered I still have my toys and they’re in good condition)

III: money

Honestly, I can give anything away. I don’t care about what I have in general. I just need people. I can’t give them away.

6: what do you feel when you visit your fellow bloggers but they forget that your blog also exists?

I don’t feel anything, because no one is actually obliged to visit my blog. Of course, I would like it if they did. But I don’t have the right to get angry if they don’t.

7: Is blogging really matters?

Yes, it has become a need now. In general, it is valuable to share things with people and also read other people’s perspectives on things. It helps me grow.

8: Five lessons you’ve learned so far from your life?

-Don’t rush. Everything happens in their own time.

-Be kind to your body and mind, as they are already dealing with a lot.

-Family is not replaceable.

-Traveling is great in many ways.

-Sleeping is important. Very.

9: Have you remembered your time with your teacher(s), would you like to share?

My teachers were always nice people, as far as I was concerned, but I actually got into languages because I liked one of my language teachers a lot. What I liked about him was that he was just really enjoying teaching English and the language itself. It was so adorable. He is still one of my idols.

10: who is more corrupt, leaders or common people, or both?

Chicken and egg problem. Corrupt communities produce corrupt leaders. But also, corrupt leaders spread corruptness in a way communities themselves would not have been able to do otherwise.

11: what is sacrifice?

Hmm, that is hard. I think it is being able to give up on what is valuable for you if that is the only way you can reach out to help someone else. Too general, but main components are that you have to give what is valuable for you and that that is the only way.

My Questions:

  1. How do you start your day?
  2. How do you end your day?
  3. How do these practices effect how you pass your day/night?
  4. What is your most valuable memory from your childhood (if you want to share)?
  5. In shaping character: nature or nurture?
  6. We all like and get food for body, but we need it for the mind and soul as well. How do you get these?
  7. What is the main purpose of blogging for you? How does it help you get to your dream?
  8. What do you think about social media? Benefits? Harms?
  9. Do you want to learn a new language? If so, which one(s)?
  10. Coffee or tea?
  11. Cats or kids?
