My memory was never that good as a kid, but much worse now. The theory around here is that your brain is like a bucket, and after a while if you keep putting stuff in it, something else has to fall out. I don’t believe there is any scientific evidence of this though, hee hee 😉 Sometimes I do wonder if it’s because we don’t have so much animal fats in our diets anymore. Our brains are made up of a lot of cholesterol, so it makes sense that our body would like us to be eating fat, like our grandparents did.
That could be a factor as well, but you can take my points to either mean that the brain is like a bucket or that having too many things is just distractive. Something distracts whenever we want to focus.
