I saw a man today,
He was not happy.
But he tried to be.
He forced a smile at me.
I was not happy, either.
But my smile was sleeping.
Until his smile woke it up.

Loved this. It is similar when I walk into the Oncologist’s office, and if a woman looks at me she tries to smile. And then when I smile back and/or say something nice and complementary to her about a scarf she may be wearing or how she looks great, she smiles back genuinely. Works every time.
