Hello everyone!
Let’s talk about the future today.
Some years ago, I was the kind of person who had a very strict idea about how my future should look like and I got it all somehow. But then, at some point, suddenly, it started not working the way it used to. I was still envisioning my future in a similar way to the previous times but something was not working. Then, it hit me. I was being taught to let go of the future. I needed to understand that I was really not determining anything about the future. It was an illusion. What happened before was that God was just being generous with me, so He gave me everything I asked for (of course, with significant amount of work). If we knew the future it would be ‘the Now’

Hmm, interesting. Maybe it would be. We would be living in the future.

We have a saying in our house: “life always takes you where you need to be.” It kind of reduces anxious thoughts about plans falling through.

Thank you for sharing!!.. I, for one, would not like to know what my future would be…. to know my future would take the adventure out of life, I would no longer have the initiative to get up in the morning and face the new day with excitement, to learn new things, to explore the universe!… 🙂
Until we meet again..
May flowers always line your path
and sunshine light your way,
May songbirds serenade your
every step along the way,
May a rainbow run beside you
in a sky that’s always blue,
And may happiness fill your heart
each day your whole life through.

I love this piece
Personally, I don’t think “time” is linear
More like a circular motion of what we perceive as past present and future
We often refer to time as if it’s something that we have
Meanwhile it is time that has us
We have no clue what the “future” is really

Interesting! Maybe.
Did you see the movie Arrival? It talks about circular time.
