Hi everyone! Wishing all of you a happy Sunday!
My life has been very quiet recently, probably the quietest it has ever been. I did not choose to have it, I was forced, but it is honestly a good phase after the many turmoil I had to go through some months back. Surprisingly, I really like the quietness. Normally, I am an active person. I like moving around, talking to people, just doing things in general. So, I would never think that I would enjoy the silence and quietness I have now. I am not only enjoying it but I am literally making it more so so that I can get the most out of this phase.
Silence and quietness are powerful. It gives you the biggest insights about yourself, your life and life in general. With distractions gone, the mind has now the time and energy to focus on…

Silence, quiet, and peace walk and live together. I take time out to enjoy them. It is often the place God resides and, as you said, “it gives you the biggest insight about yourself and life.” I’m glad you found and experienced it. Did you wonder, like I used to, how you managed to live without it?
Sorry for those tumultuous periods. Hopefully they make you stronger and better; not bitter. Enjoy the peace. ✌🏾

Life is ups and downs, right? So it is ok to have down times at times.
I do wonder that. It is weird.

I don’t think it’s weird, Betul. I do agree that it’s okay to have and accept the life downs when they occur, but I don’t think it’s okay to stay in them for a prolonged period. We often fight those down turns and times, rather than ask “what lesson is in it for me to learn.” I know that I did. 🙏🏾✌🏾

I know that I did too. It is a huge part of learning to be in the flow of life, accepting the ups and downs of life.

Thank you for sharing!!.. sometimes we need to briefly stop the world, get off and slowly reboot… I designate a quiet time and do it with meditation… 🙂
Until we meet again…
May your day be touched
by a bit of Irish luck,
Brightened by a song
in your heart,
And warmed by the smiles
of people you love.
